This year’s Valentine’s Day was certainly celebrated with a bang here at Trade Winds Hotel. With our lush gardens, intimate atmosphere and breathtaking view of the water, Trade Winds is ideal for an exchanging of vows. Newlyweds Morris and Estherlyn Foster did just that on Valentine’s Day and we’d like to offer our hearty congratulations to them.
We’re also happy to report that our special Valentine’s Day dinner was a huge success as was evident by the number of couples that were present. In fact, the Bay House Restaurant was so fully booked that we had to turn away reservation requests.
On Wednesday, Chef Leroy performed the drawing and Trevor Greenaway of Belmont was the lucky raffle winner. Mr. Greenaway won a night’s stay for two at the hotel with complimentary dinner and breakfast. Congratulations to him.

Although it remains a mystery as to who the lucky and highest bidder is, Trade Winds Hotel donated a free week’s stay to the Lady Taverners Club and Charity Silent Auction. The club, based in the UK, raises funds to improve the prospects of disadvantaged and disabled youth through sports such as cricket and other forms of recreation.
We are honored to have been able to contribute to a worthy cause.
