Here at Trade Winds Hotel we are constantly looking to move forward and listen to what you, our guests are saying. As part of our ongoing commitment to improving our facilities and giving guests the best experience possible we began refurbishment and upgrade of our hotel and restaurant two weeks ago.
Being a small hotel we have been approaching this effort in stages and have started the refurbishment on two of the rooms in the northern block. The rooms were completely gutted to the bare minimum removing all furniture, tiles, bathrooms etc. The contractors have re-tiled the floors and bathrooms and installed new windows; new lighting, vanities and fixtures and fittings will be next along with fresh paint on the walls. For many your room is one of the aspects that makes your vacation more enjoyable. With the new improvements the look and feel of your room will be much more modern, contemporary, light and airy with a charming Caribbean décor. Completing the modern look the entertainment equipment in the northern block will be updated with the installation of new 32” flat screen TVs this weekend.
The whole refurbishment process will be executed with minimal guests’ disturbance and we would like thank you for your patience throughout this process. After all the renovation is complete and housekeeping have put the finishing touches you can move right in and enjoy a comfortable stay.
The restaurant’s kitchen has also received an upgrade with a new energy efficient “Walk-In Chiller/Freezer” and the restaurant Lounge & Bar furniture has received new covers.
