Nothing beats a failure other than someone who tries, and that is exactly what self-proclaimed tomboy now Miss Antigua & Barbuda 2017 Ayana Dorsette has done.
Ayana is one the persons that will first greet you when you arrive at the Trade Winds Hotel. She’s been with us the past 18 months in the role of Receptionist/Night Auditor.
The big question. WHY pageants if you’re a tomboy?
Ayana’s response “It looked exciting and out of curiosity in 2013 I entered the Antigua State College Pageant and placed 3rd and as they say the rest is history.”
Although she loves the excitement of pageants she doesn’t enjoy the hard-work behind the scenes but understands and respects the whole process as it helps her to develop her time-management and people skills which play an integral role in her job functions. Ayana plans to pursue a career in Tourism an Hospitality.
