It has been a busy week here at Trade Winds Hotel and Bay House Restaurant & Bar with lots of “to do lists”, (holiday season prep) most of which have been completed except for this week’s blog post. All week I’ve been making mental notes on what I should write about this week and nothing I came up with sounded exciting. So earlier today I was chatting with a friend who works at Ministry of Tourism about my dilemma and he suggested I write a little about everything that was on our “to do lists” my initial reaction was “that’s all boring stuff” but after going through this week’s to do lists I began warming up to the idea, so I’m going to share with you some of the peak moments of this week.
On Monday we launched our new “Weekend Days Special” offering weekend rates during the week with savings of 20% OFF regular room rates Thursday through Sunday. This offer is perfect for the vacationer or business traveller looking to reclaim their weekend. One can explore the city, enjoy a few tours and attractions, meet-up with your clients or just indulge in the tranquility and serenity of the hotel.
We had a few “WHOO HOO” moments when trolling the internet and saw our Booking.com sponsored ad on a few sites. Yeah kinda cheesy…but for us it means we are getting the word out there about Trade Winds Hotel and Antigua. You can also find us on Expedia and TripAdvisor.
We spent sometime responding to TripAdvisor comments some very nice and complimenting and some not so nice, reminding us that our success depends on ensuring that we always provide the best service.
